Oxygen–neon novae form a subset of classical novae events known to freshly synthesize nuclei up to mass number A ≲ 40 . Because several gamma-ray emitters lie in this mass range, these novae are also interesting candidates for gamma-ray astronomy

The ${}^{33}$S($p,\ensuremath{\gamma}$)${}^{34}$Cl reaction is important for constraining predictions of certain isotopic abundances in oxygen-neon novae. Models currently predict as much as 150 times the solar abundance of ${}^{33}$S in oxygen-neon

The angular dependence of proton-proton correlation functions is studied in central $^{40}Ca+^{40}Ca$ and $^{48}Ca+^{48}Ca$ nuclear reactions at E=80 MeV/A. Measurements were performed with the HiRA detector complemented by the 4$\pi$ Array at NSCL.

Model predictions of the amount of the radioisotope ${}^{26}$Al produced in hydrogen-burning environments require reliable estimates of the thermonuclear rates for the ${}^{26\mathrm{g}}$Al($p$,\ensuremath{\gamma}) ${}^{27}$Si and ${}^{26\mathrm{m}}$

Calculation of the thermonuclear $^{30}\mathrm{P}$($p$,\ensuremath{\gamma})$^{31}\mathrm{S}$ rate in oxygen-neon nova explosions depends critically upon nuclear structure information for states within \ensuremath{\sim}600 keV of the ${}^{30}\mathrm{P
