The Hyperon Bubble Chamber, HYBUC, was a 50 Hz rapid cycling 30 cm. high precision hydrogen chamber. HYBUC was the only successful high field chamber and its superconducting magnet was operated at fields over 11 T for more than 5000 hours at CERN. Th

Measurements of bioluminescence have been made at depths of about 4500 m with (1) freely falling, (2) ship-suspended and (3) bottom anchored instruments. A comparison of these measurements shows that most of the light recorded by ship-suspended measu

A string of seven optical detectors deployed from a ship was used to detect the Cherenkov light from muons at ocean depths ranging from 2000 to 4000 m in intervals of {similar to}500 m. The flux and angular distributions of cosmic-ray muons were meas

A measurement of cosmic ray muon flux was obtained at ocean depths ranging from 2 km to 4 km at 500 m intervals off the West Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. A brief description of the experiment and the results will be presented in this paper.

We present evidence for the existence of two new $I=0$ scalar mesons [${g}_{s}(1240)$ and ${S}^{*\ensuremath{'}}(1730)$] from an amplitude analysis of the reaction ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}p\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{S}^{0}{K}_{S}^{0}n$

K ∗± (892) production is studied in the reaction π − N → K S 0 K S 0 + X where X includes up to five observed charged particles. An excess of K ∗− over K ∗+ is observed for Feynman- x > 0.1. The ratio of K ∗+ to K ∗− decreases wit
