In this work, we report the first nonlinear refraction (NLR) measurements of CVD monolayer ReS2. Using an 800-nm femtosecond laser, a high nonthermal NLR of 2.39x10−8cm2/W was obtained, 3× higher than that of monolayer WS2.

We present a comparison of three laser setups for the photothermal production of reduced graphene oxide thin films on a nitrocellulose membrane. The lowest electrical resistance obtained was 800Ω, which is attractive for conductive applications.
