BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Microwave treatment is an effective non-invasive treatment option for primary axillary hyperhidrosis (PAH), but the treatment parameters vary and no histopathological studies have been performed to validate clinical outcomes

We demonstrate a novel application of optical coherence tomography (OCT) to monitor post-laser irradiation collagen injury in model skin. An artificial skin model (RAFT), which closely approximates human skin, was irradiated with a Perovskite laser (

Using biocompatible peptide hydrogel as a scaffold, we prepared three-dimensional synthetic skin that does not contain animal-derived materials or pathogens. The present study investigated preparation methods, proliferation, and functional expression

In order to optimize wound healing of human skin, a method must be developed to reliably compare the potential for epidermal preservation and dermal fibroblast stimulation. We report a novel human skin tissue culture model developed for this purpose.

Background: Some hydrofluoric acid burns appear initially as only a slight wound, but patients may show dramatic changes within several hours. The extent of such burns are directly related to the concentration, amount, and duration of exposure. Case
