We describe the design, construction and performance of a Ring Imaging Cherenkov Detector (RICH) constructed to identify charged particles in the CLEO experiment. Cherenkov radiation occurs in LiF crystals, both planar and ones with a novel ``sawtoot

We briefly describe the design, construction and performance of the LiF-Tea RICH detector built to identify charged particles in the CLEO III experiment. Excellent pion/kaon separation is demonstrated.

We have studied charmless hadronic decays of B mesons into two-body final states with kaons and pions and observe three new processes with the following branching fractions: beta(B-->pi(+)pi(-)) = (4.3(+1. 6)(-1.4)+/-0.5)x10(-6), beta(B-->K(0)pi(0))

We have studied the color-suppressed hadronic decays of neutral B mesons into the final states D*0pi(0). Using 9.67 x 10(6) BB pairs collected with the CLEO detector, we observe the decays B( 0) --> D0pi(0) and B( 0) -->D(*0)pi(0) with the branching

We present a search for the "wrong-sign" decay D0 → Κ+π-π+π- using 9 fb-1 of e+e- collisions on and just below the Y(4S) resonance. This decay can occur either through a doubly Cabibbo-suppressed process or through mixing to a D̄0 followed by

We report results of a search for the rare radiative decay B̄0 → D0γ. Using 9.66 × 10 6 BB̄ meson pairs collected with the CLEO detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we set an upper limit on the branching ratio for this decay of 5.0×
