Abstract Background Solid tumors produce proteins that can induce the accumulation of bone marrow-derived cells in various tissues, and these cells can enhance metastatic tumor growth by several mechanisms. 4T1 murine mammary tumors are known to prod

HER2-directed therapies have improved clinical outcomes for many patients with HER2-positive breast and gastric cancer. Despite these successes, there remains a need to develop improved HER2-targeted therapies for these and other HER2-expressing tumo

Synthetic lethality results when mutant KRAS and EGFR proteins are co-expressed in human lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) cells, revealing the biological basis for mutual exclusivity of KRAS and EGFR mutations. We have now defined the biochemical events re

Lung cancer development is driven by the expression of mutant oncogenes, with EGFR and KRAS being the most frequent mutations in lung adenocarcinoma. However, these mutations alone are not sufficient for tumorigenesis, and additional factors influenc

Introduction Targeted therapies for lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) have improved patient outcomes; however, drug resistance remains a major problem. One strategy to achieve durable response is to develop combination-based therapies that target both mutat
