Hybrid Mn-Porphyrin-Nanogold Nanomaterial Applied for the Spectrophotometric Detection of β-Carotene

A hybrid formed between Mn(III) tetratolyl-porphyrin chloride (MnTTPCl) and spherical gold colloid (n-Au), MnTTPCl/n-Au, was tested along with its component nanomaterials as promising candidates in the detection of β-carotene from ethanol solutions.
