We propose a neutrino mass matrix texture bearing a suitable correlation m22=−2m13 and study its phenomenological implications. In light of both normal and inverted hierarchies, the texture imposes specific bounds on some observational parameters.

Abstract To understand the observed pattern of neutrino masses and mixing as well as to account for the dark matter we propose a hybrid scoto-seesaw model based on the A 4 discrete flavor symmetry. In this setup, including at least two heavy right-ha

Abstract We propose a minimal A 4 flavor symmetric model, assisted by Z 2 × Z 3 symmetry, which can naturally takes care of the appropriate lepton mixing and neutrino masses via Type-I seesaw. It turns out that the framework, originated due to a spe

We propose a linear seesaw model to realise light Dirac neutrinos within the framework of A4 discrete flavour symmetry. The additional fields and their transformations under the flavour symmetries are chosen in such a way that naturally predicts the

Abstract In an attempt to unfold (if any) a possible connection between two apparently uncorrelated sectors, namely neutrino and dark matter, we consider the type-I seesaw and a fermion singlet dark matter to start with. Our construction suggests tha

Nitrogen (N) use efficiency in rainfed agriculture is generally low because of poor management and unavailability of suitable rice genotypes. There is a need to select rice genotypes with high N use efficiency for these specific environments, which w

We propose two different seesaw models namely, type I and inverse seesaw to realise light Dirac neutrinos within the framework of A4 discrete flavour symmetry. The additional fields and their transformations under the flavour symmetries are chosen in

Abstract We propose a minimal extension of the standard model by including a U(1) flavor symmetry to establish a correlation between the relic abundance of dark matter, measured by WMAP and PLANCK satellite experiments and non-zero value of sin θ 13

BACKGROUND: Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a highly drought sensitive crop, and most semi dwarf rice varieties suffer severe yield losses from reproductive stage drought stress. The genetic complexity of drought tolerance has deterred the identification o
