Electroreduction of CO2 to CO powered by renewable electricity is a possible alternative to synthesizing CO from fossil fuel. However, it is very hard to achieve high current density at high faradaic efficiency (FE). Here, the first use of N,P-co-dop

This work demonstrates a facile two-step method to produce fine silica aerogel powder from silica hydrogel by using N,N-dimethylcyclohexylamine (CyNMe2) as a CO2-mediated switchable hydrophilicity solvent. The solvent can almost be totally recycled.

Herein, we report the synthesis of acetamides from CO2, methanol, H2 and corresponding amines, which is a new route used to synthesize acetamides. It was found that the Rh catalyst with LiI/LiCl as promoters could effectively catalyze this reaction.
