Measurements were made of sulphur and oxygen isotope ratios of sulphate in some Slovenian rivers, lakes and tap waters. δ34S ranged from −0.2 to + 13.3‰, δ18O ranged from +4.9 to + 13.6‰, and the sulphate content varied from 0.8 to 41.4 mg/L.

Nitrogen and hydrogen isotope effects for the reaction of N-tert-butyl-P-phenylphosphonamidothioic acid 1 with alcohols (methanol, butanol, iso-propanol, tert-butanol) were measured in dichloromethane at 30 °C. The observed nitrogen isotope effect k

We measure the factors that determine growth rate (temperature, drip rate, calcium ion concentration) for 31 waters that feed stalagmites within six cave systems throughout Europe. Water samples were collected at a frequency of at least 1 month, to p

Regular 14C sampling of discharged air began in 1988 at Paks Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), Hungary, and in 1991 at NPPs in Krsko, Slovenia and Bohunice, Slovakia. Monitoring of 14C discharges is carried out at all NPPs with similar differential samplers

Nitrogen kinetic isotope effects on the decarboxylation of 4-pyridylacetic acid have been measured in solvents of different polarity and have been found to vary from the inverse value of 0.994 to the normal value of 1.002 upon increase of water conte
