The effective control of atomic coherence with cold atoms has made atom interferometry an essential tool for quantum sensors and precision measurements. The performance of these interferometers is closely related to the operation of large wave packet

The purpose of this paper is to prove that, for every $n\in \mathbb N$, there exists a closed hyperbolic $3$-manifold $M$ which carries at least $n$ non-$\mathbb R$-covered Anosov flows, that are pairwise orbitally inequivalent. Due to a recent resul

We report here on the realization of light-pulse atom interferometers with Large-momentum-transfer atom optics based on a sequence of Bragg transitions. We demonstrate momentum splitting up to 200 photon recoils in an ultra-cold atom interferometer.

Physisorption studies and transmission electron microscopy have been used to characterise multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) made by a template-synthesis technique. Microscopic investigations revealed formation of 'branched nanotubes' with signifi
