Carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma (Ca ex PA) is a rare malignant tumor of salivary glands that originates in a primary (de novo) or recurrent pleomorphic adenoma. In the carcinoma component of Ca ex PA, many histological subtypes have been identified.
