Depth-resolved pO2 and blood flow in descending arterioles after occlusion is characterized with two-photon lifetime imaging in the mouse brain. Oxygen tension decreases rapidly in depth with branches supplementing pO2 levels after occlusion.

We show that changes in cerebral blood flow can be accurately estimated using the new Multi Exposure Speckle Imaging instrument. We also show that these estimates are unaffected by the presence of thin skull.
