The electromagnetic emission resulting from neutron star mergers have been shown to encode properties of the ejected material in their light curves. The ejecta properties inferred from the kilonova emission has been in tension with those calculated b

Electromagnetically induced transparency/absorption (EIT/EIA) tailor the amplitude and phase response of an absorption resonance to create large dispersion, which has been exploited for applications in slow- and fast-light, and quantum information sc

Wideband excitation and control of Fano resonance and electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT), both of which rely on coherent interaction between two excitation paths, is challenging. It requires precise control and tuning of interacting reson

We report demonstration of room temperature artificial spectral hole burning in microwave domain. Narrow spectral hole with 3 dB linewidth ∼6 MHz and depth> 35 dB is burned in homogenously broadened Brillouin gain spectra.

We report the demonstration of an electrically controlled two-channel microwave photonic switch of 40 dB extinction exploiting coherent interaction of Stokes and anti-Stokes fields associated with the stimulated Brillouin scattering in polarization m
