Vestibular schwannoma (VS) is a benign, encapsulated, and slow-growing tumor of the myelin-forming cells of the 8th cranial nerve. Gamma Knife radiosurgery (GKRS) has become a widely accepted primary treatment modality for small- to medium-sized VSs.
