Merton A; Andrew Merton is a professor emeritus of English at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. His poems have appeared in several literary publications, including the Bellevue Literary Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, and the Rialto, as well as in this journal (May 2007, June 2015, June 2017). His first book of poetry, Evidence that We Are Descended from Chairs (Accents Publishing, 2012), was named outstanding book of poetry for 2013-14 by the New Hampshire Writers' Project.
