An overview of the most recent developments and improvements to the low-loss TriPleX Si3N4 waveguide technology is presented in this paper. The TriPleX platform provides a suite of waveguide geometries (box, double stripe, symmetric single stripe, an

We show a MDM transmission system exploiting integrated photonic circuits for channels (de)multiplexing over modes LP01 and LP11a of a few-mode fiber. Arbitrary selection of channels routing in the system is demonstrated as well.

A reconfigurable Photonic Integrated Circuit for mode multiplexing and demultiplexing in a few-mode fiber is proposed and demonstrated. The circuit allows to selectively excite and demultiplex modes LP10 and LP11a with an estimated efficiency in the
A method to take into account the wavelength, composition, and temperature dependencies in the calculation of the refractive index and linear thermo-optic coefficient of In1−xGaxAsy P1−y alloys is presented. The method, based on the modified sing
