The crystal structure of K2Zn3[Fe(CN)6]2. xH2O is briefly recalled. It shows ellipsoidal cavities whose free volume is 0.215 cm3 g–1. They are linked by ellipsoidal apertures with dimensions 3.9 and 5.2 A. 8.5 H2O molecules occupy these cavities. T
