We report results of studying the magnetization, specific heat, and thermal expansion of a single crystal with nominal composition $({\mathrm{Mn}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Fe}}_{x})\mathrm{Si}$ with $x=0.15$. We found no thermodynamic evidence in f
