The interactions of two anionic azo dyes, Methyl Orange (MO) and Congo Red (CR), with a series of gemini cationic surfactants and dodecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (DTAB) in aqueous solution have been investigated by means of UV–Vis spectroscopy.
