The syntheses of the title compounds by the AlCl 3 -catalyzed ligand exchange reaction between ferrocene and 5,13-dimethyl[2.2]metacyclophane are reported. The species have been characterized by elemental analysis and 1 H- and 13 C-NMR spectroscopy.
