We study the rise time and fall time of high-speed photodetector based on GaSb/GaInAsSb/GaAlAsSb heterostructures with frontal bridge contact at the wavelength of 1.9 µm by using ultra-fast fiber laser and high-speed oscilloscope.

We demonstrate an adjustment of the all-fiber Er-doped ring femtosecond laser pulse repetition rate using piezoelectric transducer and thermoelectric cooler. The experimental values are verified with theoretical results.

Two generation regimes of bandwidth-limited femtosecond pulses with an average power and energy of 560 mW and 45 nJ were demonstrated in a passively mode-locked thulium-doped all-fiber ring laser at fully negative intracavity dispersion.

We demonstrate the generation of stable 210 fs pulses with 26 nm spectral width at a central wavelength of 1940 nm with 150 mW average output power and 11 MHz repetition rate.

We developed an all-fiber ultrashort pulse amplifier at a wavelength of 1.9 μm based on thulium-doped fiber with negative group velocity dispersion. The minimum pulse duration was 109 fs, the maximum power was 800 mW.
