This paper proposes a novel ultra-low power, tunable, and asynchronous baseband architecture for joint radio frequency (RF) wake-up and charging receivers. The designed system switches between the wake-up and charging operations based on the type of

In this paper, we report the development of a wireless, passive, biocompatible, and flexible system for stimulation of human induced pluripotent stem cell derived cardiomyocytes (hiPSC-CMS). Fabricated on a transparent parylene/PDMS substrate, the pr

In this letter, waking-up wireless sensors is achieved by solely relying on existing ambient radio frequency signals from commercial Wi-Fi routers. The wake-up is accomplished based on the captured Wi-Fi signal that is received by an antenna and then

A nano-watt dual-mode address detector is designed and implemented within a radio frequency wake- up receiver (WuRx). The WuRx operates at a frequency of 2.42 GHz with a sensitivity of −30 dBm. The designed address detector decodes an address obtai

In this paper, an ultra-low power address detector is designed and implemented within a Radio Frequency (RF) wake-up receiver (WuRx) operating at Wi-Fi 802.11b/g bands. The address detector aims to wake-up a sensor from sleep mode to active mode. The
