Both, the magnetisation and the magnetoresistivity of a GdIn 3 single crystal have been investigated at 4.2 K in magnetic fields up to 40 T. The magnetisation shows an almost linear dependence on the applied field and reaches a value of only 3.4 μ B

The high-field magnetisation of Pd and some dilute PdNi alloys
