The paper present new method for manufacturing optical products based on silver halides and monovalent thallium. The method of hot embossing from monocrystal blanks was compared with the method of plastic deformation of polycrystalline crude.

It is investigated fiber delivery channels for medical lasers at a wavelength of 5.75 μm in this paper. Modified silver halide photonic crystal fibers were chosen as the delivery channels. Computer simulation of these fibers was carried out.
