Direct photons provide valuable insight into the collective properties of Quark–Gluon Plasma. They are emitted throughout the evolution of a heavy-ion collision and do not interact strongly with the medium as they leave it. The PHENIX experiment ha

Measurements of φ-mesons in such small colliding systems as p + Au and He + Au are used to study the effects of cold nuclear matter, in order to separate ones caused by the formation of quark–gluon plasma from those produced by cold nuclear matter

Invariant transverse momentum spectra and nuclear modification factors of K*(892) mesons are measured in Cu + Au collisions at the energy of 200 GeV. The measurements are performed in five centrality bins in the transverse momentum range of 2.0 to 5.

Nuclear modification factors of φ mesons produced in Cu + Au and U + U collisions at cms energies of $$\sqrt {{{s}_{{NN}}}} $$ = 200 and 192 GeV, respectively, are studied using data from the PHENIX experiment. The nuclear modification factors of φ
