The lethal yellow mutation in agouti loci (Ay mutation) reduces the activity of melanocortin (MC) receptors and causes hyperphagia, obesity and type two diabetes mellitus in aging mice (Ay mice). It is unknown if changes in distinct elements of the m

We present the result of 2-year observations of Nova Her 1960 = V446 Her in 2002 - 2003. Data obtained in VRI spectral bands display the dwarf- nova-like outbursts with amplitude ~ 1m - 1.8m and typical time of 14 days. The magnitude - color diagrams

We perform the CCD (R) photometry of the nova-like variable V603 Aquilae (Nova Aquilae 1918) during 7 nights in 1999. The star showed quasi-periodic oscillations (QPO) with cycles ranging from 03035 to about 09055, and ”positive” superhumps with

On the base of our 34-day photometry of ES Dra we found its ∼ 20 d light variations with amplitude of 1m.6 and suggest this star could belong to the nova-like subclass of cataclysmic variable stars.

Based on the CCD photometry (R) of MR Ser obtained in 1999-2001, the period was corrected with a corresponding ephemeris Min.HJD = 2451369.9664 + 0.0787966E. The phase curve exhibits drastic changes with luminosity.

We perform the photometry of the SU UMa-type binary, RZ LMi during the superoutburst in 2001. The star displayed the superoutburst decay with a rate ∼ 0.m07/day. We detected the superhumps with an amplitude up to 0.m2. Some of the superhumps show t
