West African mangroves host seven species of sesarmid crabs; three of which belong to the recently established genus Guinearma Shahdadi & Schubart, 2017, i.e., G. alberti (Rathbun, 1921), G. huzardi (Desmarest, 1825), and G. kamermani (De Man, 1883).
