The present paper studies the oscillatory flow of Carreau fluid in a channel at different Womersley and Carreau numbers. At high and low Womersley numbers, asymptotic expansions in small parameters, connected with the Womersley number, are developed.

The dynamics of a free thin film attached to a rectangular frame surrounded by an ambient gas is studied theoretically. The mathematical model is described by evolutionary nonlinear system for the longitudinal velocity components and film thickness.
