This paper deals with a differential equation of mixing layer. The existence of a solution is established by using Weyl technique.

A boundary layer equation is considered. A series solution in the inverse powers of Reynolds number is obtained. The existence of the solution is then proved using Weyl's method.

The rectilinear flow of an incompressible viscous fluid along a duct of uniform cross section due to an oscillating pressure gradient has been considered by a number of investigators. The duct of circular cross .section has been treated by Richardson
