This paper reports on optical measurements of GaP nanowire (NW) arrays with thin nanocrystalline ZnO layer. The GaP core was prepared by metal organic vapor phase epitaxy (MOVPE) and the ZnO shell by RF sputtering by different sputtering conditions.
