Anderson localization, a strong localization effect that prevents wave diffusion, is fundamentally important in manipulating wave propagation in a disordered medium. This work uses a phase separated glass Anderson localization optical fiber and demon

A novel bulk optics scheme for quantum walks is presented. It consists of a one-dimensional lattice built on two concatenated displaced Sagnac interferometers that make it possible to reproduce all the possible trajectories of an optical quantum walk

We show an experimental procedure to certify the classical capacity for noisy qubit channels. The method makes use of a fixed bipartite entangled state, where the system qubit is sent to the channel input and the set of local measurements $\sigma_{x}

We present a widefield quantum polarised light microscope, illuminating with a NOON state (N=2) and imaging using a SPAD array camera. Compared to classical imaging we show that sensitivity improves by a factor of 1.31.

We present a theoretical scheme and its experimental proof of principle for an open quantum system undergoing Markovian and non-Markovian evolutions. We exhibit these two regimes by diagnosing them with the relative entropy of coherence of two polari

In this work we do a brief analysis of some widespread technologies for imaging science and security, while we also propose new techniques to exceed their standard classical limits by using quantum illumination and quantum detection, and exploiting s

Many disordered systems show a superdiffusive dynamics, intermediate between the diffusive one, typical of a classical stochastic process, and the so called ballistic behaviour, which is generally expected for the spreading in a quantum process. We h

We present a bulk-optics setup for discrete quantum walks, based on a novel multipass displaced Sagnac geometry. It is phase stable, reconfigurable and allows to meausure the output radiation at each step. The experimental results of both ordered and
