The SAT problem is maybe one of the most famous NP-complete problems. This paper deals with the 3-SAT problem. We follow a sort of incremental strategy to save computational costs with respect to the classical quantum computing approach. We present a

In 1982, Richard Feynman stated that in order to simulate quantum systems, we would rather go for a sort of brand-new powered quantum processor instead of a classical one [...]

In this paper we investigate the effects of a quantum algorithm which increases the amplitude of the states corresponding to the solutions of the partition problem by a factor of almost two. The study is limited to one iteration.

In this paper we present an algorithm which counts the number of fixed point orbits of an AND-OR dynamical system. We further extend the algorithm in order to list all its fixed point orbits (FPOs) in polynomial time on the number of FPOs of the syst

In this work we present the first version of ROSA Analyser, a tool designed to get closer to a fully automatic process of analysing the behaviour of a system specified as a process of the Markovian Process Algebra ROSA. In this first development stag

This paper presents a parallel implementation of the implicitly restarted Lanczos method for the solution of large and sparse eigenproblems that occur in modal analysis of complex structures using the finite element method. The implicitly restarted t

This work analyzes how network architecture affects the linear stability of fixed points in dynamical systems defined on random, directed graphs. The authors derive results for the leading eigenvalue of the adjacency matrix representing the network a
