SUMMARY This paper describes the first detailed 3-D study of the Alberta basement using the magnetotelluric (MT) method. Long-period MT data were used to generate a 3-D electrical resistivity model of the crust and upper mantle beneath Alberta. The W

SUMMARY The structure of the onshore portion of the Chicxulub impact crater (Yucatan, Mexico) has been studied with seismic, gravity and magnetotelluric (MT) exploration methods. A dispersion analysis of Rayleigh waves along a 150-km long, east‐wes

SUMMARY The INDEPTH project has applied modern geophysical techniques to the study of the crustal structure and tectonic evolution of the Tibetan Plateau. In the Lhasa Block, seismic reflection surveys in 1994 detected a number of bright-spots at 15
